A wet Sunday... more rain on the way!

So far today we have been socked in with the clouds and also rain over the last few hours.

Officially in Louisville, we have picked up better than a half inch of rain so far today as and it continues to come down right now.  Temps are mild though, only in the 70's with sky high humidity and a southerly breeze.

To the north, a heavy pocket of showers is exiting pats of Tremble and Carroll Counties.

To our west, the precipitation has become more scattered in nature.  The metro area will be dealing with this for the second half of the afternoon.

The remnants of Isaac is currently spinning a short distance to our west across the Wabash River Valley.  This storm will continue to spark scattered showers for the remainder of the day today.

AdvanceTrak is showing the situation late this afternoon with scattered showers and a few heavy downpours possible.  However, because of the steady rains and cooler temps so far today, there will be little if any chance of severe weather.
