A wet Sunday... more rain on the way!
So far today we have been socked in with the clouds and also rain over the last few hours.
Officially in Louisville, we have picked up better than a half inch of rain so far today as and it continues to come down right now. Temps are mild though, only in the 70's with sky high humidity and a southerly breeze.
The solid shield of rainfall that we've been dealing with since late this morning is starting to break up a bit across the metro area. This is good news for the UL/UK game set to kickoff at 3:30.
The heaviest precipitation is occuring to the south in a couple of bands of rain that has set up across portions of Grayson, Hart, LaRue, Green, Nelson, Taylor, Marion and Washington Counties.
To the north, a heavy pocket of showers is exiting pats of Tremble and Carroll Counties.
To our west, the precipitation has become more scattered in nature. The metro area will be dealing with this for the second half of the afternoon.
