Heavy storms continue for some. One storm with rotation!

I'm watching an area of heavy rain and thunderstorm activity across our southeastern counties.  One storm in particular is showing some signs of rotation.

StormViewHD

This storm is located to the south of Campbellsville and southeast of Greensburg.  The rotation is fairly broad, but it has been persistent over the last few sweeps.  It is tracking northeast at about 25 mph.

This storm is embedded in a large area of rain and thunderstorm activity that covers most of our southeastern counties.

It is also in this area that the Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for until 10 pm CT or 11 ET.

I'll be monitoring the situation closely and will be sure to keep the blog updated with the latest.
