Plenty Of Rain In The Area ... What To Expect For The Rest Of The Day?

We are looking at a bunch of locations in our area with rain this afternoon. Louisville has received rain and we continue to see light stuff in the city. There is also a heavy pocket of rain near Jasper, IN and widespread moderate to heavy rain near Columbia, KY. Here is the latest...

Looking into the future, AdvanceTrak continues to show heavy rain over the southeastern part of our area with scattered showers for many of us through tomorrow morning. Keep in mind, the time stamp is on the top right part of each image.

With the heavier rain expected over the southern and eastern part of KY, the NWS has placed this area under a Flood Watch. Notice Adair county in KY is part of this watch.

 

Warnings

 

It is amazing to see how this rain has eroded so much of the drought in our area. This rain will definitely help the situation even more.
