Rain drops keep falling, but not for much longer!
Nothing new here... More cloudy, damp and gloomy conditions in Louisville. Currently, we are looking at an overcast sky with light fog and temps stuck in the upper 60's.
The rain has ended in downtown for now, but continues across southern parts of Jefferson County and points to the south and east.
In fact, a large area of rain continues across much of Central Ketucky where it is falling heavily at times for areas along and south of the Bluegrass Parkway.
The culprit continues to be a slow moving frontal boundary that remains hung up across the region.
However, as the upper level winds turn to the north, we will see this front push to the south and clear the area over the next 24 hours. This will give us some nice improvements as we head into the weekend.
In fact, I think by later this evening, the area will be much drier for Friday Night games with only a very slim chance of rain around kickoff.
Be sure to join Marc starting at 4 for the latest on what to expect over the weekend.
