Louisville Is Now In A Warning!

The NWS has issued a Severe T-Storm Warning for Jefferson county in KY and Harrison / Floyd counties in IN until 4 PM EDT. This storm is moving  southeast at 30 mph. It has the potential to produce small hail and wind gusts to 60 mph. In addition, frequent lightning and locally heavy downpours will accompany this storm. Please use caution around this storm.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR... SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY... THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE... SOUTHERN FLOYD COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA... SOUTHERN HARRISON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA...

* UNTIL 400 PM EDT

* AT 327 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR CORYDON...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL ALSO IMPACT... VALLEY STATION... SHIVELY... PLEASURE RIDGE PARK... CORYDON... SEVEN SPRINGS... LOTTICK CORNER AND ELIZABETH... SUGAR GROVE AND FISHTOWN... LOUISVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...

 

The Severe T-Storm Watch remains in effect for the western part of our area until 11 pm.
