Showers expected here. Slight risk to our west.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk of severe weather just to the northwest of our viewing area.

The risk area includes much of the Wabash River Valley from near Bloomington and Indianapolis, points west into Central and Northern Illinois.

Severe Risk 1

The primary risk with these storms will be large hail and damaging winds.

Current radar imagery is showing a few storms beginning to develop across West-Central Illinois.

Some very light precip above us, mainly in the form of virga, is falling across portions of the viewing area.
