The Latest On Severe Weather Warnings In Our Area
A Severe T-Storm Watch remains in effect through 11 pm for parts of our area. In the last few minutes, the NWS has removed Louisville and much of our area from the watch.
The storms have now passed through Louisville and in my opinion the severe weather risk is over. The temperatures have cooled a ton behind that line of storms and that has removed almost all the energy from the atmosphere.
We continue with one warning in Anderson county Kentucky. This is for winds to 60 mph and tiny hail.
Strong storms continue from Lebanon, KY to Campbellsville, KY. Winds to 45 mph and frequent lightning are possible in this line.
Strong storms are now approaching Greensburg, KY and will move into Columbia, KY in the next 45 minutes with heavy rain, frequent lightning, and winds to 45 mph.
It looks like for most of us the show is over for the night. Much more on your next severe weather risk on The Local Evening News at 6:30pm and WDRB News at 10 pm.
