TODAY'S BLOG: **Severe Weather Possible**

From Jude Redfield...

New data suggests all of Kentuckiana to be placed in the risk for severe storms. As we talked about this morning some of the rain will be extremely heavy since we have so much tropical moisture available along with the chance for some gusty winds.  I have increased the rain chance to near 50%.  A line currently forming in central Illinois is key to the percentage.  If this line develops and holds together MUCH of the region could end up with heavy rain and the chance will need to be increased. This is still a big question since the atmosphere is just now beginning to heat up and destabilize.  We will go into what I call a NOWCAST mode as we watch the radar for the afternoon and evening to see how things evolve. **Follow me on facebook for more severe weather updates** http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Jude-Redfield/205025729516267
