TODAY'S BLOG: **Today's Severe Weather Outlook**
From Jude Redfield...
As we discuss the risk for severe storms just understand everyone in Kentuckiana is under a risk for later today and into the overnight. The primary threat is damaging straight-line winds that could be in the 60-70mph range. If we were going to have any quick spin ups on the radar the main time from for any ISOLATED tornado warnings to occur would be in the late afternoon and early evening hours. The tornado risk is minimal, but still something to watch. The last map below is something I put together to illustrate where the best chance for warnings and possible damage to occur. This does includ parts of Kentuckiana(highlighted in red). We have the chance for a few storms during the afternoon with the main line arriving later tonight. This will most likely take the shape of a squall line. A new blog will be posted shortly to show how our future radar will be looking. **FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK TODAY FOR UP TO DATE SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOKS** http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Jude-Redfield/205025729516267
