What Happened To Summer?

Our strong cold front has blasted across the area leaving much cooler temperatures. Even as the sunshine approaches the metro in the next few hours, it still will remain very cool for this time of the year. Right now it is only in the low 60s in the city with a gusty northwest wind above 15 mph.

Look at Shelbyville, KY struggling in the 50s still with a lot of cloud cover. BRRR!

The winds have been gusting to near 20 - 25 mph through the day and currently we have gusts to as high as 22 mph in Seymour, IN.

Here is the good news. We are seeing clearing occur now from Seymour, IN to around Tell City, IN. This line is moving southeast and we are already seeing some sun in Louisville. More sunshine as we go through the afternoon. :)
