Big Boy Cold Front Arriving!
Go out and enjoy this beautiful weather while you can, it won't be sticking around much longer!
Currently, we are looking at lots of sunshine in Louisville with temps warming into the 70's.
Cooler weather is not too far away though with temps in the low 60's and even upper 50's for the northwestern part of our viewing area where the winds have already switched around to the north.
StormView HD is showing dry conditions across the area currently with rain and thunderstorms to our northwest across the Wabash River Valley.
The much anticipated cold front is currently sinking south into portions of Southern Indiana with showers and storms behind it across Central Indiana and stretching to the west into Southern Illinois and Missouri.
Further west, it is snowing across portions of the Rockies and High Plains!
This is a big boy front, with a MUCH COLDER air mass behind it. Take a look at temperatures across the plains. We're talking 40's for St. Louis... 30's in Minneapolis and Bismarck is in the 20's!!!
We too could see temps at or below freezing by early next week and a hard freeze is possible.
