Fall Foliage -- Peak?

This weekend, it was nice to just look across the landscape in our area and notice the bright fall colors. We have been getting a ton of your pictures showing the beautiful fall foliage, but I do want you to know this won't last forever. Right now we are officially in peak color (which normally occurs in late October). It appears the late summer / early fall rain helped bring some very nice colors to the area. Here is the latest...

Fall Foliage

  • Notice the peak is occurring in our area.
  • We are nearing peak across much of Tennessee
  • West Virginia through the New England is past peak

For those of you heading to Brown county to view the fall colors, I would suggest getting there ASAP because they are in Peak. In you are heading south to Tennessee, the colors still probably have 2 -3 weeks of good viewing.

Here is a look at some of the latest pictures of the fall colors in our area sent to me by Teresa Jones.
