Not Quite As Cool Sunday Morning

Brrr.  The cold front that moved through Friday was certainly felt on Saturday morning as we woke up to some chilly temperatures.  The official low in Louisville was 40 degrees, but as you can see, many surrounding areas dipped into the 30s!

With a lot of sunshine helping us out, our temperaure rebounded to near 60 degrees.  Clouds are moving in from the west at this time and we will see mainly cloudy skies for the overnight.  Those clouds will act as a blanket and keep our temperatures up a few degrees.  Here's a look at the expected lows Sunday morning.

Skies will clear out Sunday afternoon and stay mainly clear overnight into Monday morning.  That means we won't have that blanket, and temperatures will likely dip into the 30s all across the area.  As of right now, a Freeze Watch is in effect for Lawrence, Jackson and Jennings counties for Monday morning.

Freeze

It is likely additional frost/freeze advisories will be issued for Sunday night/Monday morning.  We will keep you updated!
