Rain Continues To Push Across The Area ... Early Afternoon Update

I am sure a lot of you are looking out the window wondering if this rain is an all afternoon thing? Will you need the umbrella to get to the car after work or are you going to need to sprint to the car!? Let me get you caught up on the latest.

Afternoon Rain

StormView3D continues to show a ton of rain in our area. Notice it is very steady north of the river, but KY we continue to see waves of rain.

The rain continues to come at a steady pace from Bedford to Salem to Paoli to Jasper, IN.

West of Louisville there is moderate rain with a few pockets of heavier stuff around Hardinsburg, KY.

Moderate pockets of rain are moving through downtown right now, but heavier stuff is moving into southern Jefferson county right now. With everything moving north, this will affect most of hte county.

The bottom line is there will be on and off showers all afternoon long. Some pockets are moderate rain will mix in and you will definitely need the umbrella today! Much more later this afternoon on the severe risk that just touches a fringe on our northeast counties.
