Storm Prediction Center Expands Severe Risk For Late Wednesday
The Storm Prediction Center has expanded their severe weather risk for Wednesday. I wanted to you give their latest forecast, then I will have my assessment this evening in the blog.
Storm Prediction Center Severe Weather Risk
The slight risk of severe weather has expanded quite a bit for Wednesday. They are now banking the risk right up against our area. Here is the latest.
SPC Categorical Severe Weather Risk 7 AM Wednesday - 7 AM Thursday
Notice the slight risk now banks up to our western counties, so this is a lot closer than yesterday.
SPC Probabilistic Severe Weather Risk 7 AM Wednesday - 7 AM Thursday
Notice the 5% now covers our entire area and the 15% chance of severe weather banks up against our western counties.
I will have my full assessment of the severe weather risk on WDRB News at 4, 6:30, and 7 pm. I will try to post my blog around 7:30 pm tonight or earlier.

Marc, I religiously read your blogs everyday, a week or two ago you touched on why you don't think the fall foliage would not be as vibrant as years past do to the drought conditions we had over the summer. Ironically several people and some local met's are saying its one of the best colors they have seen in years. Has your opinion changed? Personally I'm rather surprised myself to see such vibrant colors, my oak tree's look more colorful then in recent years to be quite honest.

I honestly dont think anything will mount much. Look at this past weekend. We barely saw any rain. I am not getting my hopes up on SPC. I honestly dont trust them. I trust you WDRB
