Storm Prediction Center Has An Update To Their Severe Weather Risk Area!

The Storm Prediction Center just released their latest severe weather outlook. In this outlook, they have removed a number of counties from the severe weather risk. Here is the latest....

 

Storm Prediction Center Severe Weather Risk

 

SPC has removed almost all the Kentucky counties from the severe weather risk. It still does include almost all over our southern Indiana counties. Here is the latest...

 

SPC Categorical Severe Weather Risk Today

Notice the slight risk of severe weather covers basically all of our southern Indiana counties.

SPC Hail Risk Today

Notice SPC has less than a 5% chance of hail producers in our area today.

SPC Damaging Wind Risk Today

Notice SPC has reduced the area covered by the 15% chance of damaging winds today. Now it only exists in the northern half of our area.

SPC Tornado Risk Today

Notice SPC has a 2% chance of tornados in our area today.

It's 4:55 and the sun is coming out in the New Albany area. Are we still looking @ storms this evening?

jim, the hires data suggests there is still the possibility of an evening t-shower.
