TODAY'S BLOG: Headed Back Down In A Big Way

From Jude Redfield...

After a pleasant start to the morning with non freezing temps we are looking to go right back into the cellar by tomorrow morning. A cold front has just moved through Kentuckiana and you will feel the breeze at times near 20 mph this afternoon from the northwest.  That cooler flow of air brings down the cool stuff from the northern plains and we are looking at some outlying areas dipping into the upper 20s tonight.  The Louy Metro area should range from 33-37, cold enough for frost.  If you are away from the Metro frost is a given.  Bundle the kids up at the bus stop tomorrow morning. The blog later today will focus on our next rain chances and warm up that brings the 80s back to the region.  Gotta love the ups and downs of autumn.
