TODAY'S BLOG: Rain Gets Very Close

From Jude Redfield...

We look to be in a very quiet weather pattern, but showers will try like crazy to sneak into the region over the next 24-36 hours.  I think it is a lock that temps will approach 80 over the next couple of days, but the question is how high of a rain chance do we need to go. With such a strong southerly flow of air I am going to keep the chance for rain VERY VERY VERY low at this point banking on the strong south push to keep the main action just to the north of Kentuciana. Other than a stray shower (mainly in southern Indiana) I think we are high and dry through Thursday with the temps being the big story.  Keep checking in if you have weekend plans or plans early next week as the pattern looks to really flip flop on us.  There is a lot in question right now, however confidence is high that MUCH COOLER air is on the way just in time for trick or treating. **Follow me on facebook for more weather updates** http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Jude-Redfield/205025729516267?fref=ts
