Today's Blog: **Winter Weather Advisory Now In Effect**
From Jude Redfield...
While some areas have seen some slick roads this morning other areas have had nothing more than a few flurries. This evening the odds of dodging the messy roads become much lower. A band of snow will develop just before sunset to our west and overspread most of Kentuckiana. This snow will be a quick hitting area of light accumulations, but will make it pretty icy in spots. Up to an additional inch is possible by midnight. With temperatures dropping like a rock and winds blowing the fluff around a few roads will still be slick in the morning. Make sure to tune in for possible school delays on WDRB in the Morning.
The window for the best oppurtunity of accumulation is from 6pm - 12am. Tomorrow morning the snow is over, but the wind chill values could dip as low as 10 below zero. I will have more updates on this winter weather event today and tonight on my facebook and twitter page. Safe travels to all! Jude Redfield Twitter Jude Redfield Facebook
