Thundersnow Captured During The Blizzard Tonight On Video!!

The monster blizzard continues  to produce enormous snow in the northeast. I am seeing snowfall totals to 12.5" in connecticut already! We are also getting "thundersnow" which is simply convective snow. When you get rising so fast in a snow situation, you can on rare occasion get what is referred to as thundersnow. Take a look...

Wind reports have reached 74 mph in the eastern part of Massachusetts and you can see widespread winds over 60 in Cape Cod!

Tropical Wind Gusts

The show is far from over as incredible snowfall rates of 2" - 4" per hour are occurring in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and eastern Massachusetts.

My family in RI and Lawrence Mass are just absolutely getting blitz beyond belief. My uncle is saying its the first time in his life he has felt disorientated due to weather. What he means by that if you even try to voyage out its ironicaly easy to loose sense of direction. However if you are driving in the I-95 corridor which I doubt anybody is you will get a 500 ticket if you get caught.
