Heat Wave Is Coming

From Jude Redfield...

Today's dew point temps stay in a 65-70 range during the afternoon. Looking at info for the remainder of the work week I see this being a common theme.  This is somewhat different than last week when we had afternoon dew points nearing 75.  The higher the dew point the more nasty it feels. The reason our heat index will rival last weeks numbers at or above 100 is because the actual air temps will be a few degrees hotter this week.  High temps will hit 95 or better Wednesday through Friday.

Feels like temps look to be a slam dunk to at least achieve 100 or more Thursday and Friday.

With limited rain chances and blistering sun setting up be aware of the UV index this week. Extreme levels develop Thursday and Friday.
