Severe T-Storm Warnings Issued

The NWS has issued a Severe T-Storm Warning for Marion county in Kentucky until 4:50 PM EDT. This storm is moving southeast at 15 mph. It has the potential to produce penny sized hail and wind gusts to 60 mph. In addition, frequent lightning and locally heavy downpours will accompany this storm. Please use caution around this storm.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR... SOUTHWESTERN BOYLE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KENTUCKY... NORTHERN CASEY COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY... SOUTHEASTERN MARION COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY...

* UNTIL 450 PM EDT

* AT 419 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR GRAVEL SWITCH...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH. PENNY SIZE HAIL MAY ALSO ACCOMPANY THESE DAMAGING WINDS.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL ALSO IMPACT... FORKLAND... CHILTON AND PEYTONS STORE...

 

 

The Severe T-Storm Watch remains in effect for the eastern part of our area until 7 pm.
