Severe Weather Continues To Affect Our Area ... New Warnings

The NWS has issued a Severe T-Storm Warning for Hardin, Larue, Green, and Hart counties in Kentucky until 7:50 PM EDT. This storm is moving southeast at 15 mph right along 31E. It has the potential to produce small hail and wind gusts to 60 mph. In addition, this storm is lightning machine, so please use caution around this storm.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR... SOUTHERN HARDIN COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY... SOUTHWESTERN LARUE COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY... WESTERN GREEN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY... NORTHEASTERN HART COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY...

* UNTIL 650 PM CDT/750 PM EDT/

* AT 605 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR HIGH HICKORY...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL ALSO IMPACT... MUNFORDVILLE... JONESVILLE AND PIKE VIEW... LINWOOD AND HINESDALE... RIO AND GLEN LILY... CANMER AND EVE...

 

The Severe T-Storm Watch remains in effect for the eastern part of our area until 10 pm.
