Destructive Winds Approaching The Metro

The NWS has issued a Severe T-Storm Warning for Clark, Scott, Washington, Harrison, Floyd counties in Indiana. This storm is moving east / southeast at 40 mph. It has the potential to produce small hail and destructive wind gusts in excess of 70 mph. In addition, frequent lightning and locally heavy downpours will accompany this storm. Please use caution around this storm.

This is a storm that should be taken seriously as it has produced nearly 60 mph winds already.
