Frost & Fog
The weekend is off to a frosty start with temperatures in the 20's. There is a decent amount of moisture left in our atmosphere from yesterday's winter storm. As a result, you need to watch out for freezing fog and black ice this morning. Take a look at the air temperature and dewpoint temperature, they are very close meaning the air is almost saturated.
That is why we are seeing the fog out there but with plenty of sunshine that fog will burn off and eventually our temperatures will rise above that freezing mark of 32 degrees. That will help melt away some of that ice but you still need to be cautious of slick spots for now.
