Today's Blog: Signs Point To Increased Rain Chances

From Jude Redfield...

Just another battle of high pressure vs low pressure. The ultimate winner will be the low pressure by the end of the week, but the ride to start the week sure has been silky smooth. With the bubble of stability that has put us in the comfort zone moving east all eyes watch the storm in the plains shift east as well. This approaching low pressure links up with a good deal of Gulf of Mexico moisture meaning scattered showers & storms become more numerous Wednesday night into the first of Friday. Quite a few clouds increase in the coming days as well so hopefully you have had the chance to enjoy the blue sky. **So far it doesn't look like total washouts any of the remaining days, but you run the risk of needing a back up plan if you are hoping to spend the day outside**

As I analyze severe weather parameters I don't find many things that jump out at me that should make us feel threatened. Just about all severe weather guidance suggest us staying below the severe weather threshold.
