Today's Blog: Stormy Weekend

From Jude Redfield...

After the clouds break over the next 12-24 hours we are expecting more in the way of sunshine which will help propel a warm up. Starting tomorrow the 80s come back into the picture. Our warm afternoons stick in the 80s Tuesday-Friday and could possibly linger into Saturday.

We have more important things to talk about for the weekend forecast than possible 80s on Saturday however. Strong jetstream energy combined with a potent cold front could mean a band of rain and storms. At this point it appears showers and storms are likely, with the question coming down to timing(which is not uncommon 5 days out). If you have any outside weekend plans keep checking in as we fine tune the arrival time of the cold front. A few storms could be strong if the current projections hold.
