Are we done with severe weather for today????
This has been the big questions of the morning. After a widespread severe weather event hit our area overnight and early this morning, things will quiet down for the rest of the day. All tornado watches and warnings have been cancelled for the area.
Please check my previous blog entries for a list of the severe weather reports from Kentuckiana.

My Forecast
The afternoon today looks sharply colder. Temperatures will drop to around 43 degrees by 5 pm with breezy conditions. The rain should come to an end this afternoon as well and we may actually see some peaks of sun late in the day.
Tonight skies will turn mostly clear and it will be much cooler. Low of around 29.
On the extended, it will be quiet mid week with temperatures warming to near 62 by Thursday. Showers could afffect us on Friday, but more thunderstorms are likely by Saturday.
Barn leveled (it was an old barn) on Hwy 22 @ Ballardsville Rd near Northeast Christian Church in eastern Jefferson County. The roof is all over the place including in power lines. No sirens went off in eastern Jefferson County @ Oldham County Line. Sirens come from Murphy lane firehouse or school.
