Tornado Watch and Widespread Severe Weather

Unfortunately this system is resulting in the severe weather expected. Tornado watches and warnings are still in effect as of 5:25 am for parts of the area.




Severe Watches 


Up to 99 mph winds were recorded with this storm in Huntingburg, Indiana. Ellsworth, IN is reporting 4-5 houses either damaged or destroyed with several injuries. We have tornado reports from Georgetown, IN to eastern, Jefferson County, multiple tornado reports from Oldham county and tornado reports from Henry County.


The severe threat will be this morning and coming to an end later this morning.

MetroSafe must not have had a weather radio on this morning. They said no tornado warning was issued for the metro. Wow!!!
